1. Scholarship at the Bucerius Institute for University of Haifa Graduate Students

The Bucerius Institute offers a scholarship for graduate students of the University of Haifa whose thesis topic lies in realm of the research and interest of the institute.

2. Scholarship at the Bucerius Institute for Foreign Graduate Students

The Institute offers each year fellowship (from October or April each year) for foreign graduate students. The grant is for registered students, Ph.D.(preferably) or M.A. students, who are in the process of writing their thesis in areas of interest covered by the Institute.

The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage exchange between German and Israeli scholars. Study and research in Israel ought to form an essential part of the student's thesis.

Applicants should be fluent in German and English. Knowledge of Hebrew is an advantage but not obligatory. The student will assist, two days a week, in research and administrative tasks at the Institute. It is possible to participate in courses of his/her choice at the University of Haifa (courses to be taken for credits must be paid by the student). Applications should be submitted just upon Calls for Applications published on the institutes website.

 

3. Scholarship for Research in Germany for University of Haifa Graduate Students

The Institute offers several scholarships for advanced degree students whose stay in Germany could further their research. (Knowledge of German is not a prerequisite but would be of an advantage). The scholarship is 750 Euro per month for a period of 6 month. The scholarships are for second or third degree graduate students whose research has been approved and who are not exceeding the normal study period.

· The Research Proposal
· Curriculum Vitae
· Two recommendations from Researchers in the Field of Study (one by the student's advisor and one by the advisor at the German University)
