On 27.10.2025 the Bucerius Institute hosted Prof. Manfred Lahnstein, the former CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of the ZEIT-Foundation and the current CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of the ZEIT-Foundation, Prof. Manuel Hartung.

The main event of this visit was the 12th Bucerius lecture, which was held by Prof. Martin Köttering (President of the University of Fine Arts Hamburg): “Drawing the Line – Navigating Between Academic Freedom and Responsibility Based on the Example of a German Art University”
