Henrik Hebauf won the Research Scholarship of the Israel Embassy in Berlin and conducts his research in Haifa under the auspices of the Bucerius Institute.
Hendrik Hebauf is a masters Sociology student at Goethe-University Frankfurt. He received his bachelor also at Goethe-Universitys Sociology Department with a thesis on “The Relationship between Modernity, the Holocaust, and Anisemitism in Theories of Biopolitics”.
His research focuses on the history and presence of Antisemitism, as well as critical theory and psychoanalysis. At Bucerius Institute for Research of Contemporary German History and Society he works as a research student on the topic of “Commodification of Holocaust Memory: On the new “Historikerstreit” in Germany”.
